Privacy Policy — Don’t Break IT!
Last updated: July 4, 2026
Don’t Break IT! (“the app”, “we”) is a casual reflex game. This policy explains what information is handled when you play, and how. The app has no user accounts and does not ask for your name, email, contacts, photos, or location.
Information stored on your device
The app keeps your progress locally on your device only: your best streak, continue tokens, and your settings (haptics, sound, and colour theme). This data never leaves your device through us and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Leaderboard (Apple Game Center / Google Play Games)
If you open the leaderboard or sign in to your platform's game service, your best streak is submitted to Apple Game Center (on iOS) or Google Play Games (on Android) so it can be ranked against other players. The public alias shown on the leaderboard is the one you have set in that game service — not something we create. This information is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies (Apple, Google). We do not run our own servers and do not store your scores ourselves.
Advertising
The app shows ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google and its certified partners may collect device information such as advertising identifiers (e.g. Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA), IP address, coarse location derived from IP, device model, and ad-interaction data (views, clicks). This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and, where required by law (e.g. GDPR in the EEA/UK), happens only after you make a choice in the consent dialog shown at first launch. You can change or withdraw that consent at any time, and you can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of ad personalisation in your device settings.
Children
The app is suitable for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; ads are served through Google's systems in accordance with its policies.
Your choices
You may: (a) decline or withdraw ad-consent where the consent dialog is offered; (b) reset or limit your advertising identifier in device settings; (c) choose not to sign in to Game Center / Play Games, which keeps your scores off the leaderboard; (d) remove all locally stored game data by uninstalling the app.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will ship with an app update and the date above will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
