Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
Find Hidden Objects Spot (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a casual seek-and-find hidden-object game published by XM Technologies. This policy explains what information is handled when you play, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.
1. Information we store on your device
The app keeps your game data locally on your device only: level progress and which objects you have found, your remaining hints, your play-streak history (the calendar of days you opened or played the game), the awards you have unlocked, any support messages you write in the app, and your settings (sound, screen auto-lock, personalised-ads preference). We have no accounts and no servers of our own — this data never reaches us, and it is removed when you uninstall the app.
The app does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, camera, microphone, photo library, precise location, or health data.
2. Advertising
The app is free and supported by ads. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which also uses mediation to fill ad requests from these additional advertising partners:
| Partner | Role | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Primary ad network & mediation | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Meta Audience Network | Mediated ad network | facebook.com/privacy/policy |
| Unity Ads (Unity Technologies) | Mediated ad network | unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy |
To serve, cap, and measure ads, these partners may process: advertising identifiers (Google Advertising ID on Android, Apple IDFA on iOS where permitted), IP address and coarse country/region derived from it, device model, OS version, language, and ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, video completions). We do not receive or store this data ourselves.
The app shows these ad formats: a banner below the game screens, an app-open ad when you launch or return to the app, an interstitial after you finish a level, and an optional rewarded video. The rewarded video is always your choice — it only plays if you tap to watch one (to earn an extra hint when you have run out), and declining it never blocks progress. No ad is ever required to complete the game.
3. Your ad-consent choices (UMP / GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app shows a consent dialog on first launch using Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Personalised advertising data is only processed if you agree there. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from Settings, and withdrawal takes effect on your next ad request. If you decline, you will still see ads — they will be non-personalised (contextual) instead.
4. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On iOS 14.5 and later, the app presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt asking permission to access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalised advertising. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, the IDFA is not accessed and ads are non-personalised. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. The prompt is shown after the consent dialog and before ads load. Saying no does not limit any gameplay feature.
5. Notifications
With your permission, the app sends up to two local reminders a day to help you keep your play streak going. These are generated on your device by the app itself — no message is sent from a server, and no data leaves your device to produce them. You can turn reminders off inside the app at any time, or disable notifications for the app entirely in your device settings.
6. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Consent — personalised advertising and any associated identifiers; notification reminders.
- Legitimate interests — serving non-personalised ads, frequency capping, and preventing ad fraud, so the game can stay free.
7. Data retention
Game data stays on your device until you delete the app (you can also erase it at any time from the app's privacy settings). Ad partners retain data according to their own policies, linked in the table above — we have no access to it and cannot delete it on your behalf.
8. Children
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will act on it. Ads are delivered through Google's systems in line with its families and content policies.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EEA/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond the ad-consent choices described above. Because we hold no personal data ourselves, most requests are exercised directly through your device controls (reset/limit your advertising ID, ATT, and the consent dialog) or with the ad partners listed above. You may also contact us at the address below, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Security
Game data is stored using the standard, sandboxed storage provided by your device's operating system. As we operate no servers and transmit no personal data ourselves, there is no account for an attacker to compromise.
11. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here and the date above will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
